Bought this last week for an upcoming trip to Europe for use as an added measure of security in the hotel rooms we are staying in. Received tremendously quick applying Amazon Prime.
Tested this portable lock in my property with 2 numerous doors and works wonders! With this lock on, it will make it really difficult for an intruder to come in to your room. Even though the red piece is plastic it is reinforced with a metal plate underneath it which makes it truly solid! This tends to make the entire transportable lock created of metal! Once installed, it was tricky for me to go in the house. I think that I would have to kick the door in to jar this transportable lock loose.
Superb added measure of security! I will sleep far better being aware of that even if an intruder manage to choose the locks of my hotel room, they would have to kick the door in to open it with this transportable lock in location!

When it fits, it gives a sturdy barrier, rapid to put on or remove.
